Version 7.7.2
South Africa's mass deportation campaign is exactly the kind of firm, lawful immigration enforcement the country needs. The government's Five-Point Plan strengthens border security while respecting human rights, and cracking down on vigilantism shows the state is in control. Letting criminal elements hide among migrant populations was never acceptable, and this operation proves South Africa is serious about upholding its laws.
Mass deportations won't fix South Africa's staggering unemployment rate or the more than one hundred thousand jobs lost in the past year — those failures belong to decades of corruption and poor governance. Blaming foreign nationals, who make up less than 4% of the population, for structural economic collapse is a dangerous misdirection. Scapegoating migrants satisfies anger but creates zero jobs, fixes zero schools and solves zero systemic problems.
