Is Blanche a champion of justice for America or a vessel for corruption dressed up in legal legitimacy?

Republican narrative
This is a win for justice and accountability. Blanche is exactly the kind of attorney general America needs right now. He's highly qualified and has already proven himself by fighting crime as acting AG. The DOJ under Blanche will enforce the rule of law without political interference, which is what law-abiding Americans have been demanding.
Democratic narrative
The deal Cornyn and Tillis accepted is smoke and mirrors. Blanche can walk back the moment the votes are secured. The immunity arrangement protecting Trump's family from the IRS remains untouched, and nothing stops future taxpayer money from flowing to pardoned Jan. 6 defendants. Confirming Blanche means endorsing the corruption he was picked to protect.
