Sen. Moreno Says Rep. Miller Should Not Serve in Congress
Did Moreno stand up for his family and country or was his callout mere political damage control?

Republican narrative
Moreno has made the right call by criticizing Miller, despite the difficult decision to make a family matter public. Miller's alleged pattern of abuse toward his ex-wife, their toddler and even his ex-wife's attorney makes him unfit for office and the GOP has plenty of other available candidates to replace Miller and serve with dignity.
Democratic narrative
Moreno's statement only came after relentless public pressure, proving it was a political calculation, not a bout of courage. Meanwhile, the most prominent figures in the Republican party, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, have said nothing, exposing how the GOP protects its own at the expense of abuse victims.
