Version 7.7.2
Cutting the size of the State Department is essential to secure optimal returns for U.S. taxpayers. Before Rubio took office, the department had grown into a bloated, expensive bureaucracy while delivering poorer outcomes and weaker diplomacy. Making the State Department great again requires removing any waste to transform it into the leaner, more effective foreign policy apparatus America needs.
Gutting the State Department at a time when China is expanding its diplomatic budget and circling U.S interests is a strategic blunder that leaves America flying blind abroad. Haphazard cuts will reduce America's diplomatic reach and scupper international relationships that have taken decades to build. Rather than serving America, this plays right into the hands of her adversaries.
