Version 7.11.1
American sailors are stuck at sea for more than eight months with moldy showers, broken toilets and rationed food, and some are so desperate they tried to jump into the sea. Nobody signs up for indefinite deployments with no end date and grueling 16-hour shifts. Congress needs to step in and demand answers before more service members break under the strain they've suffered under the Trump administration.
Signing up for the Navy means accepting hardship, and anyone who can't handle a long deployment probably should not have enlisted in the first place. The whole overboard story seems overblown anyway, since the vessel lacks railings and even aircraft have rolled off the edge during turns. This looks like a stretched narrative rather than an actual crisis.
