Pro-establishment narrative
Trump is right to stick with the Iran campaign. Public mood is changeable, but decisive force deters Tehran, reopens the Strait of Hormuz and stops a nuclear breakout. Backing down now would hand leverage to an adversary.
Establishment-critical narrative
The war in Iran must end now. A mere third of the country backs the war while gas spikes, service members die and goals stay muddled. Congress should scrap the billions earmarked for bombing and put that money where it's most needed: child care, health care and school meals.
