Meanwhile, life expectancy, crop yields, coral cover and global greening continue to improve, proving that doom-mongering was always overblown. Americans agree, with polls showing climate change barely cracks 3% as a top issue.

U.S. climate science is under siege. Cutting the Arctic Report Card after 20 years will do nothing to address catastrophic effects in the Arctic, it just silences the people explaining what the data means. Buoys and satellites keep working, so this looks like burying inconvenient conclusions rather than saving money. Silencing alarms only benefits polluters who profit from the public staying in the dark.
