That kind of grassroots victory proves money isn't everything when a candidate truly connects with voters. Florida's Democratic race infused major energy into the excitement of the midterms.

Angie Nixon winning the Florida Democratic Senate primary is a gift to Republicans — nominating a DSA extremist in a red state is electoral suicide and hands the seat away before a single general election vote is cast. Florida Democrats deserve a candidate who can actually win, not one whose far-left politics alienate the mainstream voters.
