Nine Fired FBI Employees Sue Over Terminations
Do these agents deserve justice for politically motivated firings or did they betray their oaths by pursuing Trump?

The Facts
- Nine former FBI employees sued Thursday in Washington federal court to get their jobs back, calling their firings unlawful retribution for work on the classified documents investigation of President Donald Trump. FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Todd Blanche are defendants.
- The plaintiffs said that they did not volunteer for the probe, which produced charges that were dismissed in 2024 after a judge ruled special counsel Jack Smith was improperly appointed. They are seeking reinstatement, back pay and a ruling that the firings were unlawful.
- An agent on Patel's Director's Advisory Team requested access to the Plasmic Echo case files Feb. 23, a day after video spread of Patel chugging a beer in the U.S. men's hockey team's locker room in Milan, the suit says. The files named all nine plaintiffs.

Anti-Trump narrative
These agents deserve to pursue justice. They were fired for following evidence and this is pure payback. Promises that there wouldn't be politicization at the bureau turned out to be worthless. When terminations come with no investigation and no cause, the message to every remaining agent is obey or be erased.
Pro-Trump narrative
These agents have no real case. They flagged doubts about probable cause and then raided a former president's home. An oath to the Constitution means refusing to serve as a tool for politically driven targeting, not going along with it and crying foul once there are consequences.
