Netanyahu’s sneer about an “Islamic republic of Britain” is as absurd as it is insulting. After years of British diplomatic cover, intelligence cooperation and extraordinary efforts made in Israel’s favor, such baseless mockery exposes not Britain’s failings, but the breathtaking ingratitude and recklessness of Netanyahu’s own rhetoric.

Britain has been overseeing growing Islamist influence for years while so-called leaders sell out the country to appease a growing extremist movement. This was surely a legitimate warning from someone who has spent a lifetime fighting Islamic extremism. Exposing the politicians and media figures covering this up is long overdue for Britain.
