The Facts
- Macklemore opened his Free Palestine Tour on Monday at Dublin's 3Arena, performing for a sold-out crowd of about 13,000. He waved a Palestinian flag for much of his set as fans chanted "Free, free Palestine." Many fans wore keffiyeh scarves.
- Monday's benefit show featured Hozier, rap trio Kneecap, DJ Habibeats, singer Lina Makoul and Dead Prez rapper M1, along with Beoga, the band that left Ed Sheeran's tour. Actor Liam Cunningham introduced the nearly four-hour event.
- The tour continues Thursday at Paris' Accor Arena and Friday at London's OVO Arena Wembley, with U.S. dates expected later. Proceeds go to groups including Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Anera and UNRWA USA.
