Jackson is the real deal, and the grassroots energy behind him reflects what the electorate actually wants.
Republican narrative
Jackson is just Platner with more baggage. He's a temper-prone candidate who finished third in a gubernatorial primary, was accused of hurling a bottle at a female colleague and faces mortgage fraud allegations. His Medicare for All push would cost tens of trillions and gut private insurance for most Americans. Collins will be able to steamroll him.
