The Spin

Anti-Israel narrative

Israel's military expansion into Lebanon, Syria and Gaza is a blatant land grab. Demolishing villages, concentrating Palestinians into walled-off zones and secretly setting up bases in Iraq reveals a strategy of regional domination. This kind of unchecked aggression is turning Israel into a pariah and dragging the U.S. deeper into a mess neither country can afford.

Pro-Israel narrative

Decades of failed U.N. resolutions and broken Lebanese government promises left Hezbollah free to turn southern Lebanon into a missile base aimed at Israeli homes. Controlling territory up to the Litani River is the only defensible border Israel has ever had, as Ben-Gurion recognized over a century ago. When terror groups attack from sovereign land, that land becomes subject to the rules of war.
