Version 7.1.0
Israel's strikes on Syrian military infrastructure are a necessary defense of Druze civilians facing brutal violence from armed extremists. Letting an Islamist Syrian government weaponize sectarian conflict while Israel fights Iran and Hezbollah is simply unacceptable. Protecting a vulnerable minority population isn't aggression, and Israel will continue to support Druze interests.
Israel's so-called protection of the Druze is a well-worn pretext for seizing Syrian territory and pushing sectarian partition. Since Assad's fall, Israel has launched hundreds of strikes and occupied land beyond the Golan Heights, making clear that it is using Druze militias that are associated with drug smuggling as a proxy force. Druze fighters sparked the clashes in the south, not the government, and it is clear that Israel is spreading false information to support its goal of dividing Syria along sectarian lines.
