Jake Tucker, 39, founder of Innisfil Pride, has been found guilty on seven of 10 human trafficking-related charges by a Barrie, Ontario, Canada, jury after six hours of deliberations following a trial lasting more than two weeks.

The investigation began in 2022 when one woman told police she had been trafficked by Tucker for years. Officers then located a second woman who made similar claims about Tucker's alleged involvement in the sex trade.

Prosecutors alleged Tucker advertised the women's sexual services, drove them to and from client appointments, and drugged them when they refused to work. One woman testified that he used a taser on her to force compliance.

Tucker was acquitted on three counts — assault, sexual assault and assault with a weapon. Outside court, he denied running an escort business, saying he operated a consensual adult club while also working in transportation and on a food truck.
