The Jharkhand police showed remarkable restraint handling protesters outside the state assembly — water cannons, tear gas and minimal baton contact hardly qualify as brutality. Breaching a protected government premises isn't a protected right, and police had every obligation to hold the line. Framing measured crowd control as an atrocity is politically-motivated misinformation.
