Temporary was never meant to be permanent, and TPS has functioned as a backdoor amnesty program for far too long. The rule of law demands enforcement, and targeted operations in Ohio, Indiana and South Florida are exactly the kind of follow-through Americans voted for.

Deporting 300,000+ Haitians means sending people back to a country where armed gangs control 90% of the capital and a national emergency has been in effect since 2024. Tens of thousands are health care workers caring for vulnerable patients daily, and 50,000 U.S.-born children now face the nightmare of family separation. The administration's claim that Haiti is safe enough for return flatly contradicts the State Department's own highest-level travel warning.
