Version 7.17.1
Nobody elected a foreign viceroy to write laws for Bosnia, yet hundreds were imposed through powers the Dayton signatories never approved. Dragging an elected Serb leader into court for refusing to bow to that unaccountable office is political elimination wearing a judicial robe. The ballot box just answered back, and self-rule beats rule by decree every time. Bosnian Serbs have faced undue subjugation.
A conviction means nothing if the convicted man still picks the presidents, the premier and the candidates, and stamps his name across the ballot. Dayton only ever worked because someone enforced it, and with sanctions lifted, the high representative's office hollowed out and Brussels holding only carrots, the rules are quoted by everyone and obeyed by no one. Bosnia could be ripped apart along ethnic lines.
