Canada: Man Charged After Halifax US Consulate Bomb Threat
Is Canada facing a real terrorism crisis it refuses to confront or is this fearmongering over isolated cases?

Right narrative
Canada's unserious attitude toward terrorism is a disaster waiting to happen. Two consulate shootings, hired guns, an increase in extremism and antisemitism, and evidence of Iranian activity on Canadian soil show how live the threats against this country are. Canada must act swiftly and decisively against these actors before a real tragedy occurs.
Left narrative
Every aspect of this case points towards an unwell man, not some Jihadist plot. The family of the accused is shocked, and courtroom ramblings indicate mental illness rather than extremism. Even in the gun-for-hire cases, there's been no solid evidence that terrorism is the motive. Fearmongering gets us nowhere and is an excuse to erode our civil liberties.
