The Spin

Right narrative

Cambridge's Homerton College failed its students by refusing to suspend those who sent explicit death threats to a peer who simply visited Israel. Issuing "formal warnings" after students wrote "kill him" and "he needs to die" is a dangerously weak response that signals political violence will be tolerated. Elite universities must stop treating intimidation as a welfare issue and start treating it as the serious threat it actually is.

Left narrative

While media and politicians rush to condemn antisemitic attacks, Muslim victims of hate crimes get erased from coverage entirely. Islamophobic attacks outnumbered antisemitic incidents in a 12 month period ending March 2025, yet murdered Muslim men like Abdul Wali Mamozai and Zeshan Afzal, who were killed over the last two months, barely register a headline. This is selective outrage in defense of Jewish lives over Muslims.
