Version 7.18.0
A small province builds real economic muscle by landing billions in private capital instead of waiting for handouts. Construction crews and permanent staff get steady, well-paying work close to home and wind development adds lasting value to the grid. Strong conditions on ratepayer protection and water use mean growth and responsibility can go together.
Massive data centers drain local watersheds and strain grids, and water-stressed regions worldwide are already paying the price for cooling demand. Hosting the land while the technology, profits and control sit offshore leaves communities with the costs and little of the upside. Slapping a wind label on an energy-hungry campus does not make it green.
