7 Republicans Break Ranks as House Votes to End Iran War
Is Congress reclaiming its war powers to bring troops home or are seven Republicans surrendering mid-fight?

The Facts
- The House voted 220-204 late Tuesday to approve a war powers resolution directing President Donald Trump to remove U.S. forces from hostilities with Iran, the third such measure the chamber has passed since June.
- Seven Republicans joined every voting Democrat, up from four breaking with the FOP on the previous two votes. Reps. Nancy Mace, Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Zach Nunn joined Reps. Thomas Massie, Tom Barrett, Warren Davidson and Brian Fitzpatrick.
- Nunn, an Air Force Reserve colonel, said he would not back "another open-ended war" and that sustained combat operations now require congressional authorization. Miller-Meeks, meanwhile, called for a plan to end the war.
