The Spin

Pro-Ukraine narrative

Hungary's foreign minister is in no position to tell Zelenskyy what to do. After all, he is the president of Ukraine, not Hungary. If Hungary wants to achieve energy security, it should diversify its energy sources away from Russian gas, like the rest of Europe has.

Establishment-critical narrative

Sovereignty and territorial integrity are fundamental values of international politics. Zelenskyy is openly flouting these principles by attacking Hungary's energy sources while threatening further attacks. These unacceptable forms of intimidation must not be tolerated.
