While Mamdani is the complete opposite of everything Trump stands for, the New York City Mayor-elect believes it's important to meet with the U.S. leader if it means proactively tackling some of the issues that are facing New Yorkers.

Leftists like Mamdani love to blame Trump and the right for all the country's problems. However, the reality is that badly thought-out leftist policies, such as subsidies and welfare checks, do not solve anything and, in fact, make things worse by driving up the costs for everyone.
