This story makes sense, given pro-Israel groups' history of staging antisemitic events to garner support for Israel's genocide in Palestine. From fake bomb threats to staged confrontations at restaurants, these groups work with the pro-Israel mainstream media to make Zionists out to be the victims.

While a hoax is better than an actual anti-Semitic attack, this shouldn't blind Australia to the fact that anti-Semitic violence is on the rise. Police have just recently arrested dozens in connection to other crimes, including arson and car theft, exposing the sharp rise in anti-Jewish behavior and criminality in Australia.
