    The Spin

    Democratic narrative

While Trump resists facing the debt for work that's already been completed, irrigation projects, infrastructure, and medical care suffer around the world. From Nigeria to Ukraine, the crucial progress made by USAID schemes is falling apart thanks to the president's equally tyrannous and whimsical attitude towards international policy. The infantile and ignorant approach taken by Trump to global funding risks not only the lives of those abroad, but America's soft-power worldwide. It's a relief to see SCOTUS taking on this presidential overreach.

    Republican narrative

This is not presidential, but judicial overreach. Trump is forging a path along clear policy lines mandated by the endorsement of the American people, and the Supreme Court has no right to interfere in such matters. Led by DOGE, this administration is shrinking the bloated and bureaucratic state, working to keep the money of hard-working US taxpayers in America.
