The article in the Times of London about a plan for a West Bank-style occupation of Ukraine is totally false, and it's sloppy reporting. The Times clearly has terrible sources. Nothing of the sort was ever discussed.
Anti-Trump narrative
According to a source in Trump's administration, the plan for a West Bank-style occupation was discussed during Witkoff's visit to Russia and is being considered as it rids Ukraine's need for a referendum. If true, the U.S. and Russia are discussing a plan that violates dozens of UN Security Council resolutions and international law.
