The Spin

Anti-Trump narrative

The Trump-Qatar jet saga gets yet more ludicrous, as it is revealed that no agreement has yet been made. Here, Qatar is trying to further insulate itself from scrutiny over this potential bribe, as emerging details make it clear that Trump sought out the jet himself. This transfer must be stopped for legal and foreign influence concerns.

Pro-Trump narrative

The media nit-picking of this situation does little to change the astute moves made by the president. The media has decided to ignore the historic and lucrative deals Trump has struck with Qatar to zero in on a non-issue that is little more than a show of respect from Qatar to President Trump.
