This ruling totally vindicates Trump and exposes the politically motivated witch hunt that James orchestrated. She literally campaigned on targeting Trump and then brought this lawfare against him as a form of election interference. This isn't the first time James' corruption has been exposed and, thankfully, the appeals court saw through her politically motivated case.

Trump and his allies are misinterpreting this ruling. While the panel found the financial penalty against Trump was too severe, the court clearly affirmed that he committed fraud for years and James acted lawfully to protect New York's financial markets. Although it appears he's going to escape accountability, Trump could still face punishment on appeal.
