Version 6.15.2
Israel has every right to apply sovereignty over its ancestral homeland in Judea and Samaria, especially when faced with unilateral moves to reward Palestinian terrorism. These Western nations are essentially legitimizing Hamas' Oct. 7 massacre by recognizing a Palestinian state without any conditions or guarantees for Israeli security. Annexation would be a viable path to secure Israel's future and prevent the establishment of another terror state that would threaten Israeli civilians.
Annexing any part of the occupied West Bank would violate multiple U.N. Security Council resolutions and constitute a flagrant violation of international law that would spark enormous diplomatic backlash. Such moves would undermine the viability of a contiguous Palestinian state and further entrench an illegal occupation that the international community has consistently condemned. The growing recognition of Palestinian statehood reflects legitimate international concern over Israel's expansionist policies and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
