The Spin

Establishment-critical narrative

The National Electoral Council and its machinations have stolen Honduras' election and handed the presidency on a platter to Asfura. By inflating tally sheets, the Council willfully gave hundreds of additional votes to the PNH, to the detriment of the PLH. This theft cannot be tolerated, which is why Nasralla is taking decisive action to protect the will of the people.

Pro-establishment narrative

Contrary to Nasralla's frenzied allegations, the National Electoral Council faithfully served the people of Honduras in this latest election. Having passed the intense scrutiny of international observers, the Organization of American States can state with confidence that the results are a true reflection of the will of Honduras’ citizens. Nasralla, therefore, should refrain from making such destabilizing accusations.
