Harris' speech was a powerful return to the political stage, delivering a much-needed rebuke of Trump's dangerously chaotic policies. She correctly identified how Trump's reckless tariffs are hurting American families and businesses while pushing the country toward recession. But her message exceeded policy — she reminded us that "courage is contagious." In the face of Trump's agenda, which favors the wealthy and undermines democratic norms, it's time for all of us to rise and resist. This country belongs to We the People, not the powerful few.

Harris' return to the political stage shows she's learned nothing from her crushing 2024 loss. Her speech, full of hyperbole about "constitutional crises," ignored the Biden-Harris administration's economic failures — skyrocketing inflation and rising costs. Instead of recognizing Trump's border successes, Harris doubled down on rejected rhetoric.
