Yet again, the media has been caught lying to tarnish Israel's image. As has been the norm for decades when it comes to covering Israel, the Western media has made a concerted effort to demonize the Jewish state by relying on faulty claims and pro-terror propaganda. Israel has done everything it can to minimize Palestinian suffering, and media outlets should take responsibility for amplifying the claims of a disgruntled former contractor.
It is beyond a reasonable doubt that Israeli forces have committed genocidal attacks on Palestinian civilians and then lied about it repeatedly. Palestinian sources never reported that this boy was killed, and there is a mountain of evidence that Israeli forces have purposefully murdered scores of Palestinian aid seekers. Furthermore, Aguilar never confirmed that the boy had been shot, and it is possible that he was simply mistaken.
Though the situation is still unclear, it seems relatively certain that Israeli forces have opened fire on Palestinians seeking aid. These incidents further demonstrate that the GHF's operations have been a failure and the U.N. should handle aid distribution. Both sides need to make concessions so that the ceasefire can be fully implemented and the hostages are returned.
