A French police officer identified as Florian M. will face trial for murder in the second or third quarter of 2026 over the June 27, 2023, fatal shooting of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk during a traffic stop in Nanterre, a Paris suburb, the court and prosecutors said Tuesday.
