As part of this, the command and the Pentagon have to refine their strategies to improve the effectiveness of their deployments, which is why the Department of War will resize the Title 10 forces to ensure a constant and enduring presence in Chicago and Portland.

Trump's National Guard deployments are ostensibly illegal. The federal government's mobilization of these state militias failed to meet the requirements set by law and blatantly violated the Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. It's imperative that the Trump administration now abide by the law and fully recall all its unlawful military occupations.
