The Spin

Anti-Trump narrative

These deportation errors represent a dangerous pattern of administrative incompetence that undermines the rule of law. Courts have repeatedly found that the Trump administration violated legal protections and due process rights. The government's own acknowledgment of "administrative errors" shows a system operating without proper oversight or accountability.

Pro-Trump narrative

This ruling contradicts the president's duty to execute federal law and protect Americans from dangerous criminals. Melgar-Salmeron is a serial criminal with MS-13 ties who illegally entered the country twice and was wanted in El Salvador for homicide. The final removal order was legally executable, making this court intervention an obstruction of legitimate enforcement.
