The Spin

Left narrative

The government manufactured bogus charges against a legitimate journalist whose only crime was criticizing Israeli war crimes. Officials secretly revoked Hamdi's valid visa, then detained him for the resulting "overstay" — pure retaliation for pro-Palestinian speech.

Right narrative

The Trump administration rightfully detained and removed a dangerous extremist who celebrated Hamas terrorism. Sami Hamdi told crowds to "celebrate the victory" after the Oct. 7 massacres and spread lies denying Hamas sexual violence. National security demands keeping terror supporters out of America.

Anti-Trump narrative

The Trump administration, elected to end wars, defend free speech and uplift the working class, has abandoned all of it to serve Israel's interests. Rather than secure the border or protect Americans' rights, it targets critics of Israel at home and shapes foreign policy around Tel Aviv. Instead of lowering tuition, Trump punishes campuses for criticizing Israel. He's betrayed every American, left or right.

Pro-Trump narrative

The Trump administration doesn’t bow to Israel — it engages when U.S. strategic interests align, and stands firm when they don’t. The relationship flows on U.S. terms, not Israeli dictates. Rather than simply echo Israel’s policy, the U.S. shapes the agenda, leverages the partnership and holds Israel accountable when needed.
