Media bias against Israel is routine, making this news from the BBC unsurprising. Outlets like The New York Times also amplify this by publishing unverified Hamas claims, like Mohammed Zakaria al-Mutawaq's story, later corrected for his preexisting condition. Hamas exploits disabled children to push false narratives, knowing anti-Israel media will spread these distortions without scrutiny, only correcting after pressure.
Pro-Palestine narrative
Israel is spreading falsehoods to hide its deliberate starvation campaign. The GHF, which partners with violently anti-Palestinian groups, has watched upwards of hundreds of Palestinians die at its aid centers — the opposite of its purported humanitarian agenda. As for Mohammed al-Mutawaq, his health issues are real, but that's not the reason he's so thin. Israel has left him without any of the vital nutrients a baby needs.
