    The Spin

    Narrative A

Although it's clear something must change, raising the minimum age of senior competitors won't protect elite athletes from physical and psychological damage. In fact, it will only harm those in their peak who won't be able to compete.

    Narrative B

Teenagers participating in senior competitions is a troublesome issue. Junior athletes are often exploited physically and aren't mature enough to cope with the pressure of being elite athletes. The ISU's decision will promote longevity in the sport and the welfare of athletes.
