Yanis Varoufakis

Yanis Varoufakis is a Greek economist and politician who served as Greece's Minister of Finance from January to July 2015 during the country's debt crisis negotiations with the European Union. He is the founder of the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (DiEM25) and a former member of the Hellenic Parliament.
