Thaksin Shinawatra

Thaksin Shinawatra is a Thai business tycoon and politician who served as Prime Minister of Thailand from 2001 to 2006 before being ousted in a military coup. He founded the Thai Rak Thai party and remains one of Thailand's most influential and polarizing political figures, living in self-imposed exile for years to avoid corruption convictions.
