Sophie Binet

Sophie Binet is a French trade union leader who became Secretary-General of the Confédération Générale du Travail (CGT), one of France's largest labor unions, in March 2023, becoming the first woman to hold that position. She is known for her activism on labor rights, wage equality, and her prominent role in leading opposition to pension reform in France.
