Sonam Wangchuk

Sonam Wangchuk is an Indian engineer, innovator, and education reformist from Ladakh who gained international recognition for founding the Students' Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL) and creating the Ice Stupa artificial glacier technique. He is known for his climate activism and advocacy for Ladakh's environmental protection and constitutional rights under the Sixth Schedule.
