Shannon Watts
Shannon Watts is founder and former board chair of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, established in 2012 following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The organization, now part of Everytown for Gun Safety, advocates for gun violence prevention legislation. Watts stepped down as board chair in 2023 but remains active in gun safety advocacy.
