Prefet de Police

The Paris Police Prefecture (Préfecture de Police de Paris) is the national police force responsible for public security, traffic regulation, and law enforcement in Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region. It operates under the authority of the French Ministry of the Interior and is led by the Prefect of Police, overseeing approximately 45,000 personnel.
