Mswati III

Mswati III has ruled Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) as absolute monarch since 1986, making him one of the world's last remaining absolute monarchs. Born in 1968, he became king at age 18 following his father's death. His reign has been marked by political restrictions, economic challenges, and criticism from human rights organizations over democratic freedoms.
