Moe Davis

Morris 'Moe' Davis is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and former Chief Prosecutor of the Guantanamo Bay military commissions from 2005 to 2007, who resigned in protest over political interference in the military tribunal process. He is currently an attorney and political activist, known for his outspoken criticism of U.S. detention and interrogation policies, and ran as a Democratic candidate for North Carolina's 11th Congressional District in 2020. Davis is widely recognized as a whistleblower figure who testified before Congress and has been a prominent commentator on military law, civil liberties, and national security issues.
