Ministerio Servicio Penitenciario

The Ministerio del Poder Popular para el Servicio Penitenciario (MPPSP) is a Venezuelan government ministry that forms part of the executive cabinet of Venezuela. It was created on July 26, 2011, via decree Nº 8.266 and formally established in official gazette Nº 39.721. The ministry is directly dependent on the orders of the President of Venezuela and is responsible for managing the country's penitentiary system, including rehabilitation programs, prison security, and social reintegration initiatives.
