Joseph Edlow

Joseph B. Edlow is an American lawyer serving as Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) since July 18, 2025, after Senate confirmation. He previously held key roles at USCIS including chief counsel and deputy director for policy and was acting director in 2020–21. Edlow has also worked at the DOJ, on Capitol Hill and in immigration law practice.
