John R. Tunheim

John R. Tunheim is an American lawyer and federal judge who has served as a senior judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota since December 1, 2023. Appointed in 1995 by President Bill Clinton, he was chief judge from 2015 to 2022 and continues hearing cases on senior status.
